The Paid Digital Media Business Consultant will serve as a subject matter expert with an exceptional marketing technology and analytical mindset related to all digital media efforts. This role will integrate across media and Marketing’s technology landscape and help drive research, analytics, and testing efforts across all digital media plans via national and local digital channels in order to drive media sophistication and stand up new best practices for how we go to market.
Responsible for working within the Media Team and in partnership with our Media Agency, collaborating closely with cross-functional groups like Digital Solutions, Business Performance, Technology and Data Governance to look for ways to improve overall digital media product
Responsible for facilitating and leading agency coordination to support digital media planning decisions, foster digital media innovation, align routine activities, and drive joint solutions
Works independently and within the Team dynamic on projects across the digital ecosystem (search, social, programmatic, email, dotcom, desktop & mweb and app)
Identifies evolving business needs, industry trends, and advancements in the field of Media; drives his or her team to adapt
Serves as the media liaison for technical integration with an eye on superb execution
Adobe DMP audience media activation experience – will own and manage the audience segmentation, audience analytics and testing strategy and campaign execution
May perform other job duties as directed by Employee’s Leaders
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Must have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
Bachelor’s degree required. Function specific degrees preferred (Marketing or Advertising)
Minimum 6 years experience in related field required (digital advertising) or minimum 4 years experience with advanced degree
Experience working with media tech partners specifically as it pertains to dynamic creative partners, ad serving partners, DMPs, onboarding and identity resolution, CDPs, etc.
Strong Excel, PowerPoint and Word skills
Has strategic thinking skills, is able to drive process improvement, has ability to see the big picture
Possesses strong mathematical, analytical, and problem solving skills
Communicates effectively by listening intently, questioning appropriately, and articulating clearly in both written and verbal formats
Handles high volumes of work with ability to prioritize effectively and hit promised timelines while maintaining quality within a low-cost environment
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other departments in order to influence business decisions
Ability to demonstrate high emotional intelligence in various situations dealing with both Customers and fellow Employees
Approaches challenges with tenacity, a smile and a healthy sense of humor
Ability to manage large budget, down to weekly level – extremely detail oriented
Communicates clearly and credibly to respective cross-functional Teams, Marketing, as well as other departments through written and oral presentations
Must possess a very strong understanding of marketing technology and how it’s used to enable digital marketing.
Ability to identify opportunities to scale all data sources (including 1st party data) to enhance audience effectiveness
Ability to facilitate integrations with digital vendors and internal data partners to enhance audience capabilities
Effectively manages workload, meets specific deadlines, and stays organized
Is solution-oriented, self-sufficient, and drives projects to fruition
Knowledge of legal issues around data privacy and security in regards to implications for paid media (GDPR, CCPA, etc) and can communicate implications to Legal & Data Governance
Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines.
Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines.
Must be able to meet any physical ability requirements listed on this description.
