What We’re Looking For

Desired Education
Bachelors in Marketing, Advertising, Journalism, PR, Communications, Information Science, Business or related major
GPA above a 3.4

General Knowledge
Solid understanding of the Internet, copywriting, customer service, and Internet technologies

Experience
Internship/part-time/summer job/ experience are a plus
General web marketing experience
Blogging experience (Desired)
Basic HTML or image editing experience (Desired)
Customer service experience in any industry (Desired)

Qualities
Demonstrates the ability to get things done
Continues to follow up on content placement pitches that weren’t successful the first or second time
Insatiable desire to learn
Facebook account with over 100 friends (Only used to verify web understanding)
Twitter account with over 50 followers (Only used to verify web understanding)
Outstanding written communication skills
Administrator/moderator of a forum or a blog (A bonus)“Power” Twitter, Reddit, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc account (Ex. Defined as 500+ followers)(A bonus)

What You’ll Do

Percentage Breakdown
30% client interaction (phone calls, meetings, emails, etc.)
25% managing social media ad campaigns
25% reporting/analytics
10% client strategy
5% writing/calendar creation
5% competitor analysis

Training
Our “Bootcamp” web marketing training program will be provided for new WebFX “family members”. On-site, state-of-the-art training amenities to facilitate departmental trainings, trend watch reports, and monthly Lunch-and-Learns

Compensation
$38,000-$40,000 (Potentially higher based on additional work experience or a long-term track record of proven client results)
Potential additional bonus may be offered for GPA’s of 3.8+
Potential additional bonus may be offered for attending an elite college or university & graduate with high honors
