Marketing Coordinator
The George Mason University Office of Integrated Enrollment Marketing invites applications for a Marketing Coordinator. About the Department:

Integrated Enrollment Marketing (IEM) creates, maintains, executes, and assesses multi-channel marketing and communications plans to support and enhance the recruitment, admission, and enrollment of new students to the university.

Responsibilities:

The Enrollment Marketing Coordinator supports the Integrated Enrollment Marketing office in the following areas:

  • Developing compelling content addressing key themes across the undergraduate recruitment cycle. Customizing content by channel and audience;
  • Informing and implementing the social media strategy, emphasizing video assets; Coordinating efforts of student and part-time staff in this area;
  • Assist with the development of creative assets for digital ad campaigns;
  • Contribute editorial and graphics expertise to development of new initiatives and creative projects;
  • Serve as liaison to central Social Media office, as well as to a variety recruitment and marketing stakeholders across the university; and
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports used to measure campaign performance.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree, or the equivalent combination of education and experience;
  • Experience that demonstrates the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet tight deadlines; and
  • Experience in social media management, developing content, executing communication campaigns, or advertising.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Demonstrated high degree of independence and initiative;
  • Ability to work autonomously, and collaboratively on a team;
  • Relevant experience in marketing, advertising, or design;
  • Experience with HootSuite, Canva, and Adobe Photoshop;
  • Knowledge of higher education admissions cycles; and
  • Experience working within a CRM, preferably Salesforce.
