Digital Media Coordinator – Affiliate Shows Division
Status: Full-Time
Location: Remote position, although the ideal candidate would be located in Las Vegas, NV or Minneapolis, MN.
Summary
The Digital Media Coordinator will be responsible for organic social media management, content planning, customer engagement, channel monitoring, community management, and market/trend research to maximize visibility, support ticket sales, and increase overall brand/show awareness.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Plan, develop, write, and schedule social content across all social platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, and LinkedIn for all touring properties as well as VStar Entertainment Group corporate channels.
  • Ensure consistent information, voice, and theme across all social channels to maintain brand message and core values.
  • Collaborate with licensing partners on social media content approval and ensuring all guidelines are followed to maintain a consistent brand voice.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on a regular basis to brainstorm ideas for new and innovative social media marketing campaigns.
  • Review social media analytics and report on key metrics.
  • Engage daily with customers online in a professional manner to create a positive brand experience and generate enthusiasm for our shows. Occasional weekend and evening work required, in alternation with team members.
  • Build brand affinity and advocacy through one-on-one interactions and online communication.
  • Monitor and analyze engagement on social accounts. Adjusting future content based on learnings.
  • Research new social media channels/platforms for future opportunities and how they would fit into the overall social strategy.
  • Research new types of content, industry trends, and potential social media initiatives.
  • Create, optimize, and schedule post-show email surveys.
  • Review post-show survey information and report on data.
  • Occasional evening or weekend work may be required.
  • Occasional travel for in-market visits or conferences required.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or communications field.
  • 6 months+ experience in social media content creation and strong knowledge of and experience with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, LinkedIn, Tik Tok, and other social media platforms.
  • Experience with customer service required.
  • Experience with Sprout Social preferred but not required.
  • Strong Creative thinking skills.
  • Analytical skills and data-driven thinking.
  • Be detail-oriented and consistent.
  • Strong writing, proofing, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, data management, and internet research.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-departmentally and work in a team environment.
  • Self-starter mentality, “can-do” attitude, and task follow-through.
Work Location / Considerations
  • This is a remote position with occasional travel to Las Vegas headquarters for marketing department meetings.
  • Other digital team members are based in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis / Saint Paul) area so commutable proximity to that location is preferred for monthly in-person meetings with other direct team members.
  • The employee might need to use personal property such as a cell phone and Wifi service to fulfill job duties and responsibilities.
  • A company-issued laptop will be provided.
